Hannah Avalos
Hello! My name is Mrs. Avalos, and I am the Spanish I and Spanish II teacher at Dublin High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Spanish education at Greenville University. During2019, I lived in Costa Rica and Nicaragua for half of a year, and there I became fluent inSpanish. Along with studying Spanish, I worked as an English and math tutor El Centro Tutoríain Desamparados, Costa Rica. With this experience, I have also worked in schools and tutoring centers throughout central Illinois and Missouri.I officially moved to Illinois in May of 2021 after marrying my husband, Ricardo. Living inGeorgia and joining the Dublin High School team has been an incredible experience. Along with teaching, I love being outdoors, trying new things, helping others, and visiting different places. I am excited to grow here in Dublin along with my students!

Cherell Bostic
I am Cherell Bostic and I am the American Literature and British Literature teacher here at Dublin High School. This is my 7th year teaching, and I have a profound passion for literature and genuine love for my students. I am a 2007 graduate of Treutlen County High School, and a proud Tru Blu alumni of Georgia Southern University, where I majored in English Literature and minored in Philosophy, with a foreign language in Spanish. I completed my IB training in English in 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia, and taught IB Year 2 the same year. I earned my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2020, and earned my Educational Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership just recently. I am a “teacher’s teacher” and believe that teacher support and appreciation always increases our innate ability to help our students reach new heights in their academic,creative, and self-awareness journeys. I am currently the head Varsity Football Cheerleading coach and I am looking forward to yet another year of Friday night lights!

Amber Donnell
I am an avid quilter and painter. I have made charity quilts for the local VA, the ABC women's clinic, and local foster children. I have also sewn and donated over 40 pillowcases to the Ronald McDonald House in Macon, Ga. I believe that service to others is paramount to inner peace and joy. I have been married to my college sweetheart (and love of my life) for 28 years. My daughter and son are both alumni of Dublin High. GO IRISH! My entire 31 year teaching career has been spent in Laurens county. I have taught mathematics at the middle school, high school, and university levels. I have trained teachers for the GADOE and for STEM grants. I have been a Georgia Roundtable winner for excellence in mathematics education, a GCTM Secondary Educator of the year, Star teacher,and teacher of the year for East Laurens High School and Dublin High School. My greatest joy is developing the love of mathematics in others.

Jeremy Ellenberg
Hello, I hope you are smiling because life is too short to allow joy to be stolen from you! I am Mr. Jeremy Ellenberg. I teach IB Theatre at Dublin High School. Theatre is a world within a world to allow us all to escape to our wildest dreams and escapes! I hope that I get to interact with you all at some point. Remember Theatre isn't about the end product but the journey along the way! Bachelors from Georgia Southwestern State University in Technical Theatre w/ Education minor.

Whitley McCloud
I have been teaching here at DHS for five years. I currently serve as the school PBIS Coach and I teach Human Anatomy and Physiology, IB Sports, Exercise, and Health Science, and Journalism. I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University. I hold a Master’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology from Middle Georgia State University. I enjoy painting, traveling, shopping, and watching college sports.

Cindi Scott
I have been teaching English for 25 years, and for the last 18 I have had the pleasure of working with the wonderful students at Dublin High School. I currently serve as the English Department Chair and teach honors and IB Literature, Theory of Knowledge, American Literature and British Literature. I received my undergraduate degree from Georgia College and State University. While there, I had the extraordinary opportunity to study abroad in England for five weeks. I attended graduate school at Mercer University. I enjoy reading, theater, traveling (Scotland is my favorite place so far!), and being a dog mom to my sweet pup, Bailey.

Beth Shoemaker
I am Beth Shoemaker and I am the media specialist and work with the Extended Essay. I have been with IB since it began at Dublin High School. I have been to training in New Mexico, Texas. and Savannah, Georgia.I have been married to Tom Shoemaker since 1992 and we have one daughter, Victoria.I attended Georgia College where I received my undergraduate degree Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I continued my studies at Clark Atlanta University where I received a master's degree in School and Library Information Science. LOVED my time at CAU!! Then, I continued my education at Valdosta State and University for a master's degree in education with the LIbrary/Media Option. After working in the public library sector, I made the switch to education.I enjoy traveling - especially a cruise, scrapbooking,baking/cooking, and spending time with family and friends. I am an avid Braves and UGA football fan! Chop, Chop and Go DAWGS!!

Katrina Waters
I am Katrina Waters and I am the IB Visual Arts teacher at Dublin High School. I have been teaching IB Visual Arts for 6 years. I went to my initial training in SanDiego, California, 2nd training in Savannah, Georgia and will be attending a workshop in October. I enjoy when the students find their own way in their artistic journey after their teacher led introduction and projects dealing with theElements of Art and Principles of Design. It is such a joy to watch them grow and blossom in their own by experimenting and trying new and different media. I am the mother of three children- Allison, Trey and Brett. I am the proud Mimi to three grandchildren with another one due at the end of September 2021.

Venkatreddy Vundyala

I am Señor Reddy, I earned my Masters in Spanish from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad India. I earned Masters in English literature from Osmania University, Hyderabad India.
I am trying to be a happy teacher who is going to make my students excited to come to school and grow love for learning.

Lewis Zellner
Who am I?
Proud husband of Dr. Cherilyn S. Zellner and father of four daughters ( Jada Vivian, Kalyn Davella, Helen Katherine, and Piper Nicole Zellner) and one son, Smith C.L. Zellner.
I am a native of Fort Valley, Georgia, attended Peach County High School and a proud alumni of Fort Valley State College (University). I was also a member of the Wildcat Marching Band! I received a BS degree in Zoology/Pre Med with a minor in Chemistry. In later years I received a Masters degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Georgia Southern University and and Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology.
Prior to teaching, I was employed with the Department of Natural Resources/ Environmental Protection Division as a Senior Lab Scientist in Atlanta, Ga. I was also the owner and sole proprietor of Z One and Only, a business I started that specializes in handcrafted bath and body products.
Currently, I am your Science Department Chair , Science teacher and coach of the DHS E-Sports team.
